The Privileged Lifestyle Brand will take its signature events and bring them together for one weekend to celebrate its three-year anniversary June 22-24. The Privileged Lifestyle Brand delivers impactful events for young professionals within its three pillars: We Work – We Give – We Party.

The weekend will kick off Thursday with the Privileged Happy Hour: Birthday Edition at the Gallery at Madison. There will be free entry, a DJ spinning old school and new hip hop and R&B, delicious, complimentary bar bites and affordable specialty drink options.
Handy Park on Beale Street will host the 2nd annual Privileged Music Fest: Salute to the Cover. This event will feature local artists such as Carmen Hicks, Tyke T, Wesley Jonson, etc covering poplar songs within their genres of Hiphop, R&B, and Pop. The finale will feature a timeline of popular songs produced, written, or performed by Memphians. It will be hosted by local iHeart Media’s radio personality Ena Esco for the second year in a row and featuring house band Mike Mosby and the HardHittas.

Saturday morning is the Privileged Day Conference: The Digital Vision Board. It will be an interactive, goal-oriented conversation amongst young Memphis discussing education, politics and economics. The goal is to create a collective digital vision board with goals and action items for young Memphis to execute. The panel will include local and national leaders with the conversation being led by Quinton James, co-founder and executive director for Visage Consulting and the Black Collective Political Pac.

FRESHClientNews: JWhitlow Joins the YMCA-Davis Board of Directors

Jamal Whitlow, affectionately known as JWhitlow, Creative Director of Privileged Lifestyle Brand, has recently been appointed to the YMCA Davis Whitehaven Branch Board of Directors. JWhitlow brings a myriad of experiences in leadership, networking, strategic planning, sales, workforce development, relationship-building and event planning skills to the board.

"Jamal is a connector who bridges his professional role in workforce development with his social role as an event coordinator," said Robert S. Harvey, YMCA Davis Branch Board Chair. "His ability to gather young professionals is second to none and will position Davis to reach a broader membership."

Previously, he sat on the Memphis Urban League Young Professionals board as the Social and Cultural Chair, where he was instrumental in creating engaging monthly networking events and the Mixology event, which merged live painting, live cooking with local chefs, the best bartenders in the city, a live band and dj in this premiere event of the year. Currently, he sits on the Beale Street Authority Board and the Hattiloo Young Professionals Experience Board.

"The Whitehaven area got next and I want to be front and center of its comeback," JWhitlow said. "I'm excited to dive into the great work already being done by the YMCA Davis branch."
